A definite word from a GGN representative I had a nice chat with an official at Gryphon
He stated that the reverse circulation drilling is the way to go on the property at this time. It is cheaper and faster.
They will not need to use a down hole probe to 'see' where the vein[s] are going, or do airborne surveys because they are only going to go down 200m and because, "they are already sure of where the gold is".
I called Redhawk Resources and they told me that they are working elsewhere and haven't given much thought to drilling next to Gryphon. I believe that they just picked up some claims next to Gryphon as an 'insurance policy' [my words] in case Gryphon really hits something noteworthy.
If Gryphon hits something really big they will use a rig that will take cores out that will be 4" wide.
The present infill drilling will be near to previously drilled holes. Those holes were a part of the old 43-101. The new ones are designed to prove there is a connection with the older ones. By shortening the gap between the old holes, it will be sufficient to raise the grade of the find to an indicated status which as you know is considered a bankable rating.
The labs in the area are busy and the company anticipates approximately a three week turn around time. That is about the average. He was speaking in generalities and I had the feeling that he did not want to be held to that time frame.
The representative's vocal demeanor was that of one being professionally certain of what they are doing AND ALSO of a positive outcome. Flat out he said the gold is there and they are going to find it.
That is the best I could do for now.
