You know...... the sad thing about all this "domestic fuels transition" is that had the Governments simply have given the billions of dollars to NG and hybrid designers, instead of the pipe dream that was hydrogen fuel cell mania, North America would have been at this point 12 years ago... and IMHO, putting even more than a token amount of support towards electric vehicles amounts to about the same thing...
I wonder if each of the transitions from man power to animal power, animal power to steam power, steam to stationary engine, stationary engine to mobile engine, etc. was as difficult as this transition to NG has been (or is)?...
Imagine being so silly to think that simply throwing money at the hydrogen haze would be the solution to the World's energy problems... any reasonable person with a grade 9 education could figure this one out by sitting back after a good meal and letting out a good "one cheek sneak"... heck, even if you didn't think about it on your own after sniffing the methane cloud, your wife or mother probably would have enlightened you...
