The irony is that COPE put up $750k and the IBEW put up $250k each year to fight IPP's because they thought they were losing jobs and it was already too late to fight the accenture deal. A lot of this money went to terrorist groups such as WCWC. Now when the Province says it is OK to go ahead with site C these same terrorists say thanks for the money but we will now fight the unions every step of the way on site C. They are now getting a taste of their own medicine and have an anti IPP campaign that will become an anti site C campaign using left over union money. Meanwhile the IPP organization is changing its name and the whole thing will become an anti hydro campaign. The real losers are the tax payers of BC as they have done a lot of damage to what should be a thriving clean energy business in BC. We can still be world leaders except for the likes of brainwashed nay sayers some of who even frequent this board. Lets hope the clean energy message can get past this runious campaign by the unions which have the NDP in their back pocket and make BC the place to invest. We can compete with the rest of the world and win.
