RE: RE: sheridan dumping

RE: RE: sheridan dumpingcareful...the insider exercised some of their options a month or so ago and they are now taking some profits/cost out. the amount theysold is no where near the amount of options/shares they exercised.www.sedi.ca for full details as it doesn't copy and paste in full.Sheridan still has close to 5million shares to his name. he exercised 500K options @ $2  and has sold about 200K+ a few at a time in the $6.65-7.50 range.

"We note that profit-taking has emerged among some senior goldproducers in the recent run-up. Given global events, we are notsurprised to see some selling in the seniors and a small scramble to buythe juniors. Most senior gold insider selling is option-related. Undermany option plans, a company can only issue more options if the numberof issued options decreases. One way to reduce the number outstanding isto exercise them. So it could be a mistake to view option-relatedselling as negative sign in the senior gold group right now. Meanwhile, merger and acquisition activity among the gold explorers should pick upif the bullion price stays stable or rises. Gold miners arebecoming substitutes for central banks as investors seek bullion asan alternative to paper money. However, unlike central banks, goldminers cannot print gold. They have to find it, and that is the missionof Canada's junior gold stocks."
