RE: RE: RE: HARD ASSETS CONF STARTS EARLY NEXT WEE

RE: RE: RE: HARD ASSETS CONF STARTS EARLY NEXT WEEBebe, thanks for your inquiry about "House 11," my wholly fictional screenplay about the rise of Gigantic Minerals, a junior mining company fighting to develop the 500-million ounce gold deposit (with PGM credits, of course)  it has discovered in Brazil.  To answer your question, I have Halle Berry in mind to play voluptuous IR person Ilona, featuring a glitzier variation of the costume she wore in "Catwoman."  I know critics roundly panned Berry's peformance in that film, but that's because there are a lot of shallow people out there who think quality plot and characterization are more important than erotic appeal.  To them I say: Grow up!  I'm still trying to come up with a last name for Ilona.  Chow, obviously, could be construed as libelous, and Chaw and Chew both strike a highly discordant note.

You may be interested to know that an important plotline centers on the efforts of the evil Mackerel Securities, aka House 11, to pound down the SP of Gigantic so that they and their cronies can load up.  They are opposed in this by a character named Bobo who monitors their every trade and exposes it on Stockhouse.  Mackerel gets so desperate that they hire Cub Scouts to sell shares one at a time, claiming they were "birthday presents from Grandpa," but Bobo spots even this, and Mackerel is ultimately defeated.

Hopefully, financial Armageddon is not upon us.  If Colossus falls  back to $.39, I won't have much of an ending for my entirely fictional treatment.  Actually, although I believe the world economy is in trouble longer-term, I think the Greek crisis is overblown.  The flames are being fanned by banks who hold Greek debt.
