BP stands for Big Problem

BP stands for Big ProblemI tend to be more pro-business than not, but I'm not pro-BP.  Despite the Company's smarmy press releases and expressions of concern, they stand revealed as a bunch of clowns.  BP was clearly unprepared for a disaster that should always be considered a possibility when drilling offshore.  Their fumbling, desperate efforts to stop the oil spill are sources of dismal daily headlines.  I think BP stands for Big Problem.  That's what they are.  However, the Big Problem will ultimately be BP's, what with cleanup costs, civil suits, boycotts, possible loss of government contracts, and a negative image that BP consolidates with its CEO's dopey pronouncements, such as the remark that the spill is rather small when contrasted with the size of the ocean.  BP shares may be a BUY at current levels, as some claim, but BP is not a BUY in my household.  I don't want to own an outfit like this at any price.
