RE: History repeating itselfRecession? Are you writing in from a Euro based economy? U.S. economic sentiment is at it's most positive it has been in years (I believe the figure was 67% positive), corporations are beating estimates so regularly it is commonplace and we have had enough positive economic data that the most conservative economist would be hard pressed to make a case for recession. Not saying there will be no further problems in the future but maybe an investment in an Andex chart would be a good suggestion for you, economic troubles and recoveries do indeed repeat themselves.

It is very hard to make money in the market simply because you have to be buying when everyone is running for the exits and selling when the mailman just bought a 5 series BMW. Sounds easy enough huh?

Emerging markets are growing at an incredible rate. When developed economies are expanding they buy more services, when emerging economies are expanding they buy more stuff (cars, appliances, jewellry etc). As always IMHO.
