RE: RE: RE: RE: news on SolitaireThere's no point in emailing them anything regarding share options. The truth is that they are legal (at least what they are doing is perfectly legal). Is it fair to the shareholders? No. But it's legal. Is that to say that management does not care about its shareholders? No. I'm not saying that. All I'm saying is that NAG management (and management off all publicly traded companies --on the TSX, NYSE, etc. etc.) know perfectly well what they're doing when they issue themselves options.
If you think about it, options means that the share price will go up. That is a given, especially for NAG and what they will be doing in the next few months and years. They will be a long-term coal producer, with over 10 coal mines (most of them LONG-TERM) in Kentucky alone. That in itself means one thing, the share price will go up from here. Don't call me a pumper as I am not. But seriously, do you see us going down from here in the long-term? If you do, then maybe you should go check your head and give it a good shake. Now, as I previously stated, I don't mind management giving themselves options as a reward for all the hard work they do. That's fine. But when the options are priced very low (considering where the share price should, and WILL be...), that's when I have a problem with it. Price it fairly. And my second problem is the following: issuing a news release right before a long weekend, on a friday night, hoping that people don't notice it, or if they do, they forget about it by tuesday (when trading resumes). That in itself is very sneaky (more like a kick in the gro*n). And it's not the first time they've done this. And I have a feeling it's not the last time we'll see it either. Because the truth is, no matter what is said on these boards, NAG will continue to give themselves options along the way (over the next few months/years), and people (shareholders) will just suck it up and hope that the share price will keep increasing, until they get to their "exit point" (and each shareholder has this). After that they sell, and simply move on forever. That's life. I wish it was different, but the bottom line is that with OR without these cheap options, we will continue to move on (if NAG truly realizes their potential of becoming a long-term coal producer AND one of the main producers of BLUE GEM) in the near future (months/years). GLTA, and I do apologize about the long email.
