RE: RE: Avion Gold in the future

RE: RE: Avion Gold in the futureNot entirely accurate.  Avion reached a low of about 0.07 - 0.08ish in Oct/Nov 2008.  It was then known as Avion Resources.  At that time Sprott bought the their majority holdings of Avion at 0.08 cents.  They're currently at about a 750% profit but have indicated (several months ago when sp was high 60s/low 70s) that they planned on holding their shares well into +$1.00  range.

So, I have no idea where the sp will go in the short term but if Sprott is keeping AVR as one of their top small cap gold companies.... well, then I'll just continue to hold my shares.  I bought last August @ 31 1/2 cents and told my wife that I was going to hold 12 to 18 months.  I knew then and know now that I'll be selling well above a dollar within that time frame.  I'll admit, I've added to my position since (and embarrassed to admit that I even bought some shares @ 79 cents).  Some (like ) have come in since then and traded the stock a bit, praised the company, ranted on the company, made some, lost some and ran away.  That is NOT the best way to make money on this type of stock - the best way is to take the Warren Buffet approach.... DD, buy and ride through thick and thin and sell at one hell of a profit.

In general, this board is a good board and I really appreciate the input of its members.  Thanks guys!
