Heck we are not talking a major developed country here we're talkign 3rd world in many instances and I bet mining industry being one . Gee they have people working underground stealing gold for goodness sakes. I guess they don;t wear Identity and control access cards there.
I'm surprised that they would even close the mine for an investigation int he death, I would think they would keep it running and work aroudn the operation.
Ignorant here maybe and if so, I do appologize, but to shut down a 400 milion dollar operation due to a fatality seems a little more outrageous I would think...
Unless that fatality is the CFO or CEO then you would shut it down :-)
