RE: RE: Off topic - while we wait.Unbelievable that BP  shares are up. I wonder how long this mess would take to clear up if it were in European waters?
It appears to me that BP has been underhanded through this whole ordeal. Nor do I have much confidence in Obama. His lack luster response is akin to Katrina and Bush Only this is much worse and will be longer lasting.
The submersibles are the key and should have been utilized from the beginning IMHO. I am no engineer but a charge in the right place will close the pipe.  They are attempting to save the well as a top priority then do the repair. I say $crew the well and cap it of blow it. They could always re drill at another time.
Another note I feel is very sneaky is the chemical used, not to break down the oil but to hide it well below surface. To top it off the chemicals are more toxic than the oil!
Nothing happening on shore. Where is the straw and volunteers? Anything to absorb. Where are all the skimmers? I heard that some European countries have sent equipment eg Noway and this equipment is now sitting down there doing nothing.
I'm no expert so take anything I say with a grain of salt.
