Trial Validation and Index Comparisons

Trial Validation and Index Comparisons

Thank you for all of your great posts. I certainly hope Dr. Moore gets the placebo answers before the conference, leading to a positive NR. However, Loki's post made me question the validity of the NIHSS test, and when Dr. Moore stated "with results from a number of secondary endpoints such as modified Rankin and Barthel index, which may provide an alternative to NIHSS as a pathway forwards." This begs the question: which test provides the broadest scope of data? Are we at the springboard of new scientific protocols if placebo data is so questionable?

Also, who declared the trial IIb was a failure? Some closed-minded news editor?

Carpe Diem!
