Next Milestone Payment

Next Milestone PaymentIs it possible that the next milestone payment will be for merely completing the Phase 3a trial work, but that it doesn't have to be successful?  Maybe there is a second milestone payment if the trial is successful, paid at the same time.  If I were negotiating the agreement, I would want to be reimbursed for my costs of doing the trials even if it failed to get positive results.

I think that is what happened in the case of MS when their trial failed.  That is why they have so much cash right now.

This is significant to someone considering buying more shares in BNC because it reduces the downside risk if the Phase 3 trial does not give the results we expect.  If BNC has 30 cents/share in cash right now, with the next milestone payment they might get to 50 cents per share cash.  Or more, depending on what you assume for that next payment.  The veterinary business is also worth something.

So maybe the risk in BNC is lower than some people think.
