RE: RE: RE: RE: As I expected
I suppose the good thing is that most of the speculators have moved on. In this crummy market , vilume can also be deceiving , dart321 , in that the "speculaticve" volume is gone, and there is NO volume for the "holders" who know the real story. Volume was nothing today. There were days where I bought today's entire volume. Look at May 31. 2010 = Volume 20,500 !!! THAT was crap volume! What was that all about??
jbarrow --- today's trading seemed to be just "churning" between bids and asks ( .135 / .145. Besides lack of speculative volume, we are entering into the "dead" part of the year for the small mining stocks. I don't expect ANYTHING exciting until Lake Shore Gold and HOC and ( ??? ) stirs things up again in November. If you believe the story after your DD , then be thankful that you can buy cheap. I know what you mean re: EXS . I have some expensive, but am waiting for the $ .30 cheap to average. I am now averaging with MKR to hold for the future. If you're trying to trade NCM , you've already lost. If the story is good, and the results back up the story, you don't lose being a "holder" I am a LONG-TIME holder of Holmer Gold Mines since 1993 ( Now Lake Shore Gold ) . I am a long-time holder of West Timmins Mines since 2006 ( Now Lake Shore Gold ) I plan to be a long-time holder of Newcastle Mining.
I do trade --- mostly on the big swingers like Goldcorp --- sometimes in a couple of days. Harjay is right. PATIENCE is a requirement for this stuff. Harjay is also right in that MANY things WILL affect the price and volume. GOLD is helping us. Low volume as dart321 says, will be hurting us. Countrys wanting Gold will help us. A buyout or discoveries around us will help us. A market collapse will hurt us (temporarly). Right now, Maund (sp?) ( newsletter ) and Richard Russell ( Dow Theory Letters) are calling for a collapse that will surpass the 1929 market crash!
With these things in mind, factor in your own personal / family / financial situations. Make your OWN choices and don't be swayed by posters , including myself, on these boards. Factor in your age, your health, your tolerance for the swings of the market. Above all, do due-diligence on the stock you are entering.
I'm sure all who remain here will notice how little of us are left? Perhaps we are the "INVESTORS " ?
Thanks for letting me have my say!
As Always, The Best of Luck to All of You !
