The difference is BP has a public relations problem due to the fiasco of their own creation. They are trying to assure the public about their efforts to remedy their mistake, not trying to bolster the stock price necessarily. Nuvo  has nothing and should have nothing to say about the vagaries of the stock market and the market's interpretation of the company's value, whether justified or not. The fundamentals of nuvo as a company will eventually be reflected in the share price. The fact that some investors are willing to sell their shares at these levels in my opinion reflects nothing more than their nervousness or impatience. Why hold nuvo management accountable because some of their shareholders are dummies?
