Global Petroleum Show
Global Petroleum ShowThe Global Petroleum Show is taking place in Calgary.
-International energy leaders from many of the world’s oil-producing countries will be in Calgary this week for the Global Petroleum Show — one of the world’s largest oil and gas events.
-On Wednesday, the International Energy Ministers Forum will bring together energy ministers from Kuwait, Yemen, and India and the president of Petro Peru who will share their visions on global supply and demand, enhancing recovery and protecting the environment.
-More than 60,000 visitors from more than 100 countries are expected this year. There are 2,000 exhibiting companies that cover about 650,000 square feet where they will showcase their latest technological innovations, products and services.
I would have thought Wavefront would be involved in this--all of their customers and potential customers are. But they are no where to be found. Instead, their website lists the Loydminister Heavy Oil Show as their next event. This takes place in the basement of the elementary school and coffee and cookies are included with the price of admission.
Once again--does management know what they are doing? Do they have a plan? Granted some of these shows are a waste of time but what is their reasoning for not being involved?
