RE: meeting just raped upType IIa:
Shore Gold is finding the rare type IIa diamonds in Fort a la Corne. Simply put, this means they are finding the "species" of diamonds that grow/form to over 100 carats - these are diamonds with low or zero nitrogen content. During exploration, they have already extracted a 49-carat diamond that they know was part of a 100+ carat diamond (diamonds form in a particular geometric shape, and they found a 49-carat portion of the shape with a break mark on it, proving the size of the complete stone). During mining they will not be breaking the larger stones as they tend to do during exploration. Given they will be mining everyday the amount the extracted during exploration, it is believed that they will find large stones and a regular basis.
Shore are also finding the top-color-rated octahedral stones.
These two factors help the average value of the stones found in Fort a la Corne to be more than triple the world average.
