I wonder.....if Cymat SmartMetal (TM) is part of the Austrialian ASLAV refurbishment deal with Armatec Survivability Corporation (ASC), which is based in London, Ont., and General Dynamics Land Systems - Australia (GDLS-A) have been awarded the contract to provide survivability enhancements and refurbishment to 113 Australian Light Armoured Vehicles (ASLAV).

Of interest Bill Pettipas is a director with Cymat and Senior Business Development advisor with Armatec. If so perhaps some announcement with EUROSATORY since both Armatec and Cymat will be attending......or perhaps the details are top secret for now.
Some quotes from article about Armatec Survivability Corp by Bill Pettipas from a London FreePress article in April/10.

Armatec makes a comprehensive, integrated armour system made from composite materials and that technology is getting attention around the world. Although details of how it functions are top secret, it is designed so a blast is absorbed and distributed throughout the machine.
