RE: CSI - Ownership Dispute Like Ven?

RE: CSI - Ownership Dispute Like Ven?The price of success is that it inspires litigation.  If you write a bestseller, an obscure author will claim you lifted the characters and plot from his novel.  If you invent Perma-Sox that never need washing, another inventor will allege patent infringement.   And if you discover a major gold deposit, somebody will dispute your title.  They are hoping to get money to go away.

The insider who bought 100K CSI shares isn't worried that he will have to surrender his ill-gotten gains.  The institutions that took down the private placements aren't worried.  The analysts and brokers touting Colossus aren't worried.  A good rule of thumb is that if the Big Boys aren't worried, you, the owner of 75 CSI common shares, should not be tossing and turning at night.

That said, I don't mind Phoenix raising this.  It's always good to keep one eye on legal actions.  This one is clearly minor, but you just never know.  If a lawsuit becomes major deal, I have found as an investor that analysts and newsletter writers are not very good at predicting the outcome.  They are naturally partial to the stock they are recommending, while a jury may not be.  For now, though, there is no evidence of a major threat to CSI's project--unless Elina's disapperance was a case of getting out while the getting is good.
