Between the Lines and in the Sand.
Between the Lines and in the Sand.Schill:
That is assuming the Russian supply will last forever or at least for a very long time. Ever heard of peak oil or peak energy ? Because of the coming squeeze on resources you and many others will most likely be singing a very tune within a year or two let alone 5 years. Heck, as little as two years ago it was extremely difficult to find anyone in the patch talking about peak oil let alone putting any measure of faith in the theory. However, within that time frame huge numbers of companies are seeing the light or perhaps I should say they are finally admitting to the validity of the theory. (i.e. take a look at Total (France)CEO, Talisman's CEO, amongst many others)
Huge gas requirements are materializing in the Middle East with each passing day let alone in Europe and beyond. Therefore the resource is becoming more valuable with each passing nanosecond. I wouldn't want to be on the side discounting it because quite simply if you do you will eventually be proven dead wrong, to take such a position is the equivalent of the proverbial ostrich "sticking its head in the sand".
