rdb7, part is an educated guess, but unless the "new discovery" in hole 2 which may increase Allana's resource is on their lease, I would guess that Allana may be looking to add new leases that are on trend to this new discovery.

We're looking at 5 metres of shallow potash 15-20 metres from surface. That is huge if it is found in great quantity at these shallow depths.

I believe Noront (NOT) did the same thing prior to releasing their results from the "Ring of Fire". They bought up as much leases around their discovery first. Just speculating, but maybe Allana is doing the same.
