arbitrage

arbitrage
Zinkered, what you have hit on here sure seems to make sense to me.   Not having studied Minco Gold very much before, I took the conservative approach and only switched over about 1/3 of my MSV to Minco Gold, plus sold a few $ of one of my Uranium stocks to buy a little more Minco Gold.

As a US guy I like the fact that Minco Gold is on Amex as opposed to pink sheets.

I have noticed in the past with some tech stocks that a company A that owns a stake in company B can be undervalued for a long period of time.

The one I have in mind was American Software which owned a major stake in Logility and yet American Software for a long long time was valued below what it should have been worth solely on its stake in Logility.

But this sure does look like a good arbitrage situation.  If Minco Silver continues to go up without a corresponding rise in Minco Gold, it would appear to be prudent to switch more $ from the former to the latter.
