One more comparison between what Randgold mapped and what VTR has mapped...

Go take a look at page 15 of the current corporate presentation.  Zoom in to something over 100% and then do a comparison of what Randgold modelled versus what VTR has modelled.  Randgold is red gridlines and VTR is blue gridlines.  The difference in size and location is interesting.  Randgold seemed to have missed almost the entirety of what VTR calls "Fat Boy South" on that particular slide.

I couldn't tell you what it means, other than if VTR really does have a better understanding of the trend of the main and southern extension, it remains wide and is far larger than what is in the Randgold wireframes.  Other slides show where Randgold drilled some holes, but their spacing and location looks to be about as "lucky" as some of the other ones I commented on that rarely seemed to be above 1 g/t when VTR's only 50m over were crunching through 1.3 g/t - 2.5 g/t.

I have no idea what this means for the estimate, but at face value it appears to be positive.
