Whatever happenedIn April of 2008 there was the announcement
04.08.2008 Silvermet Inc. (“Silvermet”) (TSXV: SYI) reports that its Board of Directors have approved in principle the transfer of the Muskox Project into a newly created subsidiary, tentatively to be called Muskox Metals Inc. (“MMI”) and to distribute all of the shares of MMI to the shareholders of Silvermet. Legal and tax planning studies are currently underway. It is currently contemplated that for every five shares of Silvermet currently owned, shareholders will receive one share of MMI. |

Back then the company had even hired a specialist familiar with the area. Said that there were excellent prospects that the area could contain substantial platinum similar to the platinum reef area of Soouth Africa. The terms of the joint venture expire on Dec 7 this year and then the property reverts back to Prize Mining. I have e-mailed the company asking for an update on the Muskox property, but have never received a reply. Zinc is good, but pales next to platinum. Anyone know anything?
