RE: market reaction

RE: market reaction
This is good news as much from a perception standpoint as a results standpoint.  In terms of perception, the more feel-good news releases they can pump out leading up to the 43-101 the better the longer-term prospects.  There should still be at least one more news release with the remaining holes for Kiaka.  It also helped  to (temporarily?) reverse the downtrend VTR was in today.

In terms of results, there are some good grades in here.  What I like about the results is the "AND"'s that they report for a trench.  This means they are intersecting two discrete bands of gold across the trenches.   If you go back and check out some of the Kiaka holes you will see "AND...AND....AND....AND" for some holes, indicating the 4-6 bands of higher grade gold.   Because they are trenches, it is also a closer approximation of true-width so when they start reporting drillholes using whatever downdip angle they choose, those lengths are going to appear to be getting longer just because they will report length of the core and someone will need to read the fine details to see true width.
