As mentioned in a prior post, neither Covidien nor Nuvo will be able to hide sales numbers for very long because sales data should be available shortly (if it is not already availbale) from the IMS data feed. IMS is global corporation (IMS Wikipedia Page) providing Rx sales data to pharmaceuticals to help them monitor the market and focus their sales effort. This data covers 90% of the prescriptions in the US. Most (if not all) pharmaceutical companies are clients of IMS...

I use to develop information systems using this data feed...does anyone on this board have access to U.S. IMS data?
