I don't think the bottom line (profits) will change very much, since they've been capitalizing the interest cost. When Algar starts up they'll include the past interest in Depletion and depreciation, keeping the bottom line low. What matters to all these start-up companies though is cash flow, not profits.
I don't think the interest rate will decrease very much even if they extend the terms of their existing loans. With such low cash flow, the banks won't likely lend to them, and private money is expensive.
Probably the only alternative they have is to issue more shares, which will dilute the existing shareholders.
