RE: Is this 50% angulation an issue...???

RE: Is this 50% angulation an issue...???I'm not a geologist, but the 50% is to prevent over reporting resources.

The gold in Goldborough occurs in veigns of quartz, and in host rock.  The host formation of rocks is like a triangle (or a "^" shape).  They are drilling on either slope (side) of the ^ shape towards the middle.  The last thing they want is to do is have the drill bit migrate cross into areas that are being counted in another part of the sampling protocol (being drilled from the other sid).  So they only go down to the middle of the triangle (where you would draw a stright line down from the apex), thus the drill doesn't go into the other side of the triangle and double count the resource.

Very hard to describe using words.  KenGif may be able to contribute more.
