Coneto is an epithermal silver-gold project located in central Durango State, mexico. It is on the eastern
margin of the Sierra Madre Occidental mountains, Mesa Central, in the PROLIFIC MEXICAN SILVER TREND!
Orex has 100% ownership of approximately 3,300 hectres (8,400 acres) of the known veins.
Coneto is hosted in the same geology and is midway between the recent discoveries of Silver Standfard"s La Pitarrilla and Orko Silver's La Preciosa deposits.
The
infrastructure is EXCELLENT. There is a paved road to the property and the village of Coneto de Comonfort is connected to the electrical grid.

1572 -1790 the camp was founded as Real de Coneto, during the time of the Conquistadores, with small scale production.
1800s -intermittent production took place between the 1810 war of independence and the 1910 Mexican Revolution.
1976-1990- most recent gold-silver production on Sauce and Palma veins by Compania Minera Comonfort S.A. de C.V. utilizing a 200 tpd fltation mill.
1990- 2009 - various studies by several companies , but no
consolidation of the camp took place. Minor fluorite production on the eastern side of the camp.
IN 2009 OREX MINERALS ACQUIRED THE CORE OF THE CONETO MINING CAMP.
