RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: High River Gold (HRG.TYou are right Natural, I have been on this board for a long time too. Long enough to know who is who, long enough to see intelegent people leaving this board and not coming back.
Proud may have sold a few shares, but the lion's share of the stake is still on Sprott's balance sheet. So it is naive to expect him to leave the board any time soon. To believe in his mortgage story would be not naive, but plain stupid
I also noticed the change of his emotions recently. He is much more negative and aggressive now. Why is that? I guess that's because Eric is not happy. And why is he not happy? I guess because he has got fed up with this stock.
So what is his strategy now? I believe he wants to piss off Severstal as much as he can so that Severstal managers would want to buy him out. This is very conventional approach, but you have to be good at execution. It is where I start to have my doubts. Sprott always hesitated to go after people that were stealing from him. I asked italian some time ago why Sprott is not only letting Prognoz shareholders go, but finanicng other companies related to the same individuals?
Is he weak or did they share something with him to calm him?
Now look at Severstal. They did not hesitate to stand in the way of  "slimiest of the slimeballs" (c)Prouditalian Franck F. Giustra. Now I see that very argressive Franck became very polite with Severstal. Do you think they are afraid of Eric?
Well, anyway, it will be fun to watch. After all you have to deserve "slimiest of the slimeballs" title
