Don't know how TD got $18.24.
However you are correct, the B/V will appreciate with the higher shares' issues
plus profits added on.
MFC was $15.36 before and now its $15.80
I think interest rates going up will improve MFC earnings
but the problems MFC is facing is the mark to market reportings
MFC has over $180B in stocks and mutual funds invested off balance sheet.
so reporting its assets' valuation is challenging and changes with the
ups and downs with the markets
However I maintain MFC investments are long term and long term the markets are up,
so don't worry about the short term bumps.
