Bombardier Inc. (4.43-0.31-6.54%) has sold business jets worth more than $700-million (U.S.) to several customers.
The transportation company made the announcement Tuesday at the Farnborough International Air Show.
“The last couple of years have been tough in business aviation,” said Steve Ridolfi, president of Bombardier's business aircraft division.
But the market is beginning to strengthen, Mr. Ridolfi said.
The largest order is with luxury airline operator VistaJet, which ordered four Global Express and two Challenger aircraft for delivery in 2011 and 2012.
