Sometimes the MMs delay the reporting of trades (for what reason, I don't know), because the other day I had sold 5,000 shares of a security and it didn't show up in the market data until a few hours later after the price had gone up from my sell. My TD account showed the sale had happened at 11:13 am, yet at 12:30 was still showing the last trade had been at 10:27am.
