RE: RE: Got myself fitted

RE: RE: Got myself fittedSo in response to your statement/question:

"My experience with earbuds is they often get hooked on something whileyou are doing something.  It's not that pleasant having the cheap budsripped from your ears.  When they are anchored even more securely withthe custom fitted buds, what then?  Could the user actually get hurt?Or will the wires just rip out of the buds making them useless?"

I tested (albeit hardly scientific) my v4 earphones to see how painful it would be to have them ripped out of my ears if they caught on something.  Although I stated on my earlier post that I thought this wouldn't happen that often/I hadn't experienced this, I thought you may have a point.  Anyway, so I pulled pretty hard on the earphones and they did come out and I can (honestly) confirm that apart from being aware they were being tugged from my ear there was little to no pain.

I don't know if Sonomax designed them this way or it is a pure fluke but honestly i don't think this is an issue.  It appears that the ear buds are custom fitted to your ear and so fit extremely well and don't fall out during normal use, but do come out smoothly and don't catch when tugged out.

As i said not a scientific test but I don't think its an issue.  If you don't believe me get yourself a pair and try it for yourself.

Does anybody else who has got themselves V4 earphones have any opinions on horkalugi's concern's mentioned above?
