Intellectual Masturbation...Sorry for the very rude subject but I laughed so hard when I read that I had to use it again... to whom do I pay the royalties? My turn to weigh in and contribute in place of Scuderia. I've spoken with Mark twice and received several e-mails from him this week and I'm perfectly content with where things are going. Here is a summary of why.
For those of you wondering why we're flopping about like a flaccid member and who are demanding fast acting Viagra(tm) or Cialis take the following into consideration:
OX is still inputting the latest data into its models. Remember they were still waiting for check assays and Metallic Screens to come back. As these are being received they are being put into the model. Once everything is finally in, OX and OSK will have a good joint view of the model and a joint decision on what to do next will be made.
There still now hundreds of RC drilling results outstanding and these should just start to come shortly. I'm fairly confident knowing the area and the past producers that there will new targets to focus on. I would rather OX and OSK have a full picture of the entire lay of the land and target their drilling on the areas with the greatest potential so we have a larger number to promote than a smaller one.
The Drilling rigs are still on site as is the Logan workshop. There is an opportunity cost to Logan Drilling to have those sitting there, so they must have some reasonable expectation that there will be future work and soon.
Its the height of summer in Quebec. Many industrial operations actuallyshut down completely for several weeks at the height of summer. TheQuebec Navy has departed up and down the St. Lawrence seaway in theirBayliners and Seadoos, and the Quebec Army has been dispatched in theirtrailers to every campground conceivable. Nothing is moving right nowexcept the boats and trailers. This includes the senior leadership ofOSK who are on vacation. If you think that is bad, all the majorEuropean resource investors are all on vacation in August. The venture marketsin general are dead for everyone - no one is buying anything. The people buying and selling this stock are daytraders making fractions of a cent selling amongst themselves.
There is no sense promoting a stock in August - as I point out above, no one is paying attention and waiting until you have all the results in your model to make strategic decisions is the prudent thing to do. The gold isn't going anywhere, the price of gold is staying high, its not going to hurt to wait for a bit more.
I for one do not recall the company ever publicly laying out a time line. And when I've spoken with Mark his time lines have always been generally accurate with the exception of the 43-101 timing last year and what happened there is generally well known.
My expectations are that we'll hear a decision from OSK by the end of August and it will be coordinated with other activities in the area.
My suggestion is for everyone to just chill out, grab yourself a scotch, beer or cooler to relax, and enjoy the summer and wait for it. It always seems darkest right before the most beautiful of sunrises.
