With G's investment of $5b to delelop Penasquito it was a no brainer to pickup Canplats. The price of labour here only adds to the bottom line. James Bay is a ways away. Eleonore, even with it's 9M oz Au, is still on the back burner in the scheme of things. Never mind ES with the weakly funded drill program. Would not count on G for support.
