RE: Atlantic Gold - Halifax Herald hey Ken,
I looked around for you at the Wharf, but either you have changed your looks or you were not there when I was>We still need to get together for a few beers, and maybe have a few other gentlemen join us for the big party after OX breaks .20 :)
I am definitely emotionallly attached to this stock after owning it for so many years but am not a sheep with blind faith.I like Canada7's ideas and do believe that we are responsible as shareholders to push management and increase shareholder value .My experience with Mark Billings and some directors is that they are open to constructive critisism and open to new ideas.
I am sure the company has a plan and don't believe that there are any leaks of information. The company is totally professional and credible. The problem here is history of OX which would do a drilling program and then shreholders would wait forever for something else to happen.Financing was alot of the issue with delays and $$ is no longer a problem for the time being.
My expectation is for the company to have an aggressive plan to move forward, with or without OSK.I personally don't buy the summer doldrums excuses for delaying the next phase. The ground is dry and the easiest time to drill and explore, the local municipality is anxiously anticipating new jobs and tax income for the area, the province and local community supports local development of a mine.
OX need to keep things moving and tell OSK what "their" plans are and when they are doing it.OSK can continue to move ahead with OX or watch OX move ahead on their own on their own property not JV'd with OSK.
What I would like to know is who's dollars were spent on all of these RC drilling holes outside of the JV area and if it was OSK $$$,how did this happen without a JV agreement? IF they do have an agreement why haven't shareholders been informed? If it was OX $$ ,how much did they spend and how much do they have left?
Ken, Thanks for always adding your balanced and well informed views to this board.
