RE: Some Perspective It is hard to argue for the management after all this time. Even if Mineralfields started the big sell-off there should have been plenty of buyers in the know lined up to take their place. Was this because of poor marketing, poor decision to just go with Osisko alone (now having the uncertainty about their decision), uncertainty about the asset and its quality (least likely) even with market conditions considered? The first two issues point to the management. A change in management and / or its direction has to be always on the table specially in such times. But I do not espouse change for change's sake.
As for marketing, I have been trying to get a hold of Mark for the last 2-3 months and have left him multiple messages. I have repeatedly been told by the IR that he had received the message and would call me back but I am still waiting. Now I have to wonder about all the potential investors who may want to talk to him as part of their updating to hold or DD to invest and never could reach him. For a company with such low marketcap this is not acceptable. Share price is a reflection of not just the buyers but also those holding and wanting to sell. Mark should be much more open and available to all investors and also adopt a much more aggressive approach (I say much because it is awfully low right now). I think this is the time to start a marketing campaign (rather than later as desiboy suggested) to keep a push behind themselves and Osisko in anticipation of Osisko's drilling decision and the 43-101 report - i.e., that could push the management itself to be more active to keep up with expectations. And when the news / reports are released use it as another opportunity for marketing (I see this with other gold stocks all the time). This should also include news on strengthening board with personnel of solid background, and diversifying in other propective gold assets - showing that OX is charting its own independent course.
Investor fatigue / exhaustion should not be discounted and unfortunately share price charts document this and serve as warning for potential investors.
