Here we go again...

Here we go again...Here we go again.. Just when things were starting to settle down after Marry Anne.

Steve, my guess is that the issue people have with you has nothing to do with your questions or negative views of the company. It has more to do with your facts. I'm surprised that RS hasn't called you on them... he knows a fair bit about SSS and should have pointed out your errors. You seem to make a lot of statements that are factually wrong. I am still waiting for you to name 3 phase II trials that had good results but were not allowed by the FDA to move on to phase III.

Your statement that Big Pharmas are not headed for a patent expiry crisis is alarming. I can post links to dozens of articles that are devoted to that subject alone. Yes, I noted that you wanted examples of patents that were the same as what SSS has... I'm sure in hind sight you can see that that wasn't too bright. SCT's patents cover areas that are relatively new and have only recently been discovered... so you won't find expiring patents in these areas. Also, in the stroke space there is no other drug currently treating 97% of the people who survive a stroke.... so again we have something no one else has. Also, when companies lose their blockbuster drug... they need something to replace it, not something else to compete with it. In other words, if someone thinks we have a possible blockbuster I don't think they will mind moving into a new area.

You have entered this group like a bull in a china shop. You make erroneous statements like..."add all of the above to the fact that historically SSS burns $1M per quarter and you do the math...how long you actually think they will be able to survive?" That doesn't gain you respect... it just highlights the fact that you don't do your homework. Everyone else here knows that the reason for the cut backs was to stop the burn... we know what is expected at the year end but you choose to put your own spin on it. Stick with the facts and accept when someone corrects you.

I'm not sure what your purpose is on this board... you seem to be playing games and pushing buttons. I think that it would be great to have more discussions in this group... The problem is you can't have a discussion that starts with bad information. Back up your information and do some reading... you seem like a smart guy and could really add to this board if you wanted to. Don't get me wrong you don't have to paint it all rosy.. state concerns but stick to actual facts and don't jump on people when they try to correct you... some may know more than you. When I read your posts, I personally wasn't bothered by your negative take... I was bothered by the errors in your statements. Friends or foes... your call.
