Good point if you had the full information which you obviously don't. 

As Nick stated at the AGM the V4 is in Beta testing stage which will be completed by the end of the Summer (check the recording of the AGM on the Sonomax website).

I myself have also been fitted with the V4 in Montreal which coincided with a meeting I had with Nick.  As the V4 is in the beta testing stage Sonomax are trying to be responsible with shareholders money and are reusing the headband which is used to self fit the V4 earbuds to those who are taking part in the testing.  Its not that the V4 headband doesn't work or that you have to be fitted in Montreal because it isn't self fit as you imply but rather Management being responsible with testing and containment of costs.

There is absolutely nothing to stop Sonomax (if they wished) sending the V4 to you directly were you could self fit the ear buds to yourself.

As I have already posted on this board, my V4 earbuds are excellent and a perfect fit, they are extremely comfortable, don't fall out and are superior to other ear buds currently on the market.

Management aim to have the V4 Soundcage in the shops by Christmas.  They are currently in discussions with a highly reputable high volume reseller.  This high volume reseller aims to distribute the product to a well known retailer which has over 300 stores across the USA.

Management have delivered on this in the past, getting the V3 into Virgin stores and Wallmart (i.e. they did get the product to market...just not on scale), the problem was that it wasn't scalable as you needed a technician to fit the earbuds. 

This problem has been corrected with the V4.

In my opinion Sonomax is a STRONG BUY based on the above and the massive market which their product will be sold into.
