It is evident by the news release issued by South Boulder Mines who are drilling for potash on ther Colluli project, that Potash drilling is technically 'involved', so the slow pace may just be that they need to drill slow in order to preserve and maintain core properties and integrity.  

I think you are right, and it's not only important to hit potash, but to successfully extract the core.  Time will tell, and hopefully it shouldn't be much longer.
