RE: Question for Sailor
My question is since this would be a mining emphasis would this be aprefeasability study? If so my understanding is Osk will pay for thestudy totally, beyond the budgeted exploration amounts.
I have previously asked this of a member of the board of directors and confirmed the regional compilation-synthesis is not a prefeasability study. The OSK/OX team have been working to complete a thoroughly modern geological model of all of the surrounding area which they are calling the "Regional Compilation-Synthesis". As I understand it they've been pulling in all of the data from the NS Government DNR reports which every prospector or claim holder has to file in order to keep their claims current. This includes all past exploration work by previous claim holders, historical data (for example the 1890's vintage Faribault map you see in the presentation on Slide 23) plus all the modern airborne and land based VLF/Electro magnetic surveys that have been conducted in the area.
"Preliminary feasibility studies or "pre-feasibility studies" are moredetailed than order of magnitude studies. A preliminary feasibilitystudy is used in
due diligence work, determining whether or not to proceed with a detailed feasibility study and as a "
reality check"to determine areas within the project that require more attention.
Preliminary feasibility studies are done by factoring known unit costsand by estimating gross dimensions or quantities once conceptual orpreliminary engineering and mine design has been completed. Preliminaryfeasibility studies are completed by a small group of multi-disciplinedtechnical individuals and have an accuracy within 20-30%" (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mining_feasibility_study)
Here is an extensive list that you can use for DD that I have compiled. https://www.stockhouse.com/Blogs/ViewDetailedPost.aspx?p=92102Its probably time for me to update it as its a year old.
All of the this information except reports in the last two(?) years ispublicly available. Anyone is able to go to the DNR online and getevery single exploration report in digital format for within the claimareas going back sometimes as early as the 1920's. They've been puttingall this into the computer to get quite a model of the area.
