That would be plain stupid for a company to know that this much gold is within a particular area and walk away from a minimum $ 3.6 billion dollars of mined gold before a prefeasibility study is concluded ? Another company flush in cash would be more than ready to step in and take the chance on footing the bill for a prefeability study for a smaller percentage than OSK has right now.
OSK got a good deal out of this already and yes I am grateful of what they have been able to accomplish on their dime,but it cost OX shareholders plenty...knowing that PD already concluded several years ago what OSK/OX are confirming once more via 43-101.
I have been told on several occasions what an open pit operation would cost per ounce and it appears to me that this will be profitable. I want maximum shareholder value and thus OX should be looking out for number one ...and that it us :).
