RE: hey bugoff I read that to mean that theThe people on Yahoo BB are saying that Reid has given up trying to do a similar Bill in the Senate on Friday. (and this news was probably leaked early in the day, hence the drop in share values)
https://thehill.com/blogs/e2-wire/677-e2-wire/112391-gop-aides-reid-to-punt-on-oil-spill-debate-votes
Now I don't know if this means he will try to debate  Natural Gas and Home Renovation Bill on Friday or not. And, I don't know if he is no longer going to do any of the Spill Bill, would he even wait until Friday to do the NG and HR component.
My question to any American, or anyone who understand American politics is:
Can Reid introduce/debate and pass a Natural Gas and Home Reno Bill, then have the Bill merged with the House Bill that just passed on Friday, leaving out anything not specifically in line with the Senate Bill? OR Simply put, does the House and the Senate have to start all over with two Bills that have similar wording and similar amendments?
I just don't understand American politics enough to answer these questions and to be quite honest I cannot see why they wouldn't just do something for NG vehicles when it is a bipartisan issue... but that's politics.
