These boards are seeded with every kind of person you can imagine. What is remarkable is how quick the naive expose themselves (with the theme of shareholder rights).
They actually think they have rights, and they really believe that the IR folks are telling them the truth, and they all believe the OSC keeps this game fair and honest. And of course Annual General Meetings are useful... (sigh)
This is Canada folks. This is not the USA where a 10K has to be filed. Up here in Canada it is far far easier to lead folks to the back shed and relieve them of their money.
Welcome to the penny game. It is worse than Casino Niagara, or Vegas. At least there are known odds in the Casino. In this game of speculation, everything is against you. The insiders make sure of that. And the OSC hums along doing whatever they do, whenever they get around to it.
And the sharks love it.
