On the Positive SideWe still have not had a bad test result in ten years of pretty thorough, extensive preclinical testing. These guys know by now that they probably have the goods, are they now using a public company share structure as their own personal atm machine to position themselves and their friends to profit huge when or if it does become a blockbuster; absolutely, can you blame them, ya you can but most people given the choice would probably do the same thing, I honestly do not think I would personally, but for most people it is hard for them to seperate business and ethics, they begin to believe it is ok because in the end running a public company is a business even though there are people pissing in a bed pan in a hospital with this disgusting disease that may be able to use this sooner to help ease their ailments. Maybe it would not help them but this is what we have to find out. This is the ugly side of the business of pharmaceuticals, now having said that I will move on.
As I believe Schiff said earlier they would not have set such a short closing date for this p.p. if they probably did not have most of their ducks in a row, so why on earth would people participate in this p.p. unless they were very confident. That is the million dollar question. Also maybe now that there will be a bit of breathing room to bring this to clinical trials on our own, we would not be forced to sellout for a bargain price to license it to cheap. There is always more behind the scenes, maybe this is the incentive a pharma needs, to get in on this p.p. to start a position, but again that is the million dollar question. I will not give up on this technology yet, there are to many highly distinguished experts that are putting their time and names behind this, so everything can not be that bad. Just trying to toss around some thoughts for discussion.
