Your numbers are optimistic for the 1st phase.  I think the 1st phase will be used as a pilot and is not intended to be the money maker.  The money, if successful,l will be made in the later phases of the project as part of the multi-staged expansions.  According to OPTI, the lands will support approx. 430,000 bbl/d (150,000 bbl/d to OPTI).

Looking further into future stages and assuming that they are successfull.  A good case scenario will be as follows:

100,000 bbl/d x $40 (this is a reasonable number if we assume they are successful and oil stay at around $80/bbl) x 365 = $1.46 billion/year. 

These are better case scenarios and if they are successful.  There is money to be made if things go as planned.

There seems to be late day buying....possilbly short coverings.
