They can help reduce debt by increasing profits to do this they need raw materail and or control of same instead of paying going rate for iron ore. They know this and are eyeing NMLs billions of tons of ore. Obviously there are obsticals to overcome but time will tell.

If they don't move forward the Chinise will!
