I would rather they spend time "growing the company" then "growing the share price".  Any time spent just bragging to increase the share price is lost effort and to me means that the real goal of owning a share of a really valuable company will just be delayed a bit longer as effort is being directed into "non productive" activities.
I am not saying that people that believe the share price should be "managed" better are not allowed to post their point of view.  Go ahead, just don't expect everyone to agree with you or think that just because we don't agree we don't care about money.  We just have a different philosophy in determining what actions will lead to a bigger pile of money.
