Aug. 19 (Bloomberg) -- PT Newmont Nusa Tenggara expects to raise $1.4 billion through an initial public offering and bank loans to develop projects, including the Batu Hijau copper and gold mine, Investor Daily Indonesia reported without saying where it got the information.
The company, a unit of Newmont Mining Corp., targets $800 million from the initial share sale. UBS AG has been appointed to help arrange the sale, according to an unnamed person cited by the newspaper.
